If you look hard enough there are still quite a number of blooms blooming in the garden. Some, including the geranium above, more unexpected than others.
I certainly wouldn’t have expected this number of roses in December, but they are the exceptions –
In other garden beds there are still Asters (A. frikartii Monch) Penstemon
and Leptospermum, featured in last Monday’s vase.
And in the greenhouse, plants that really should know better by now, Geranium,
and beautiful Zaluzianskya ovata, Night Phlox.
Please join Carol at May Dream Gardens to see what others have blooming in their gardens at this time of year.
I didn’t think to check out my overwintering succulents for flowers. I also have a few doses flowering but mine were a little too battered by recent wind and rain to bother photographing. It really doesn’t feel like winter does it.
No – it certainly doesn’t. I still have some dahlia foliage looking green and healthy!
Beautiful!
Happy Garden Bloggers’ Bloom Day!

You have far more in flower than me in your garden at this time of year. Lovely photos. Groetjes from Holland, Hetty
Thanks Hetty. It’s been really mild here and there are still roses blooming now!
That’s a lot of flowers for the middle of December!
