Just a quick quick post to share the beautiful Easter bowl prepared by our lovely hosts Sue and Gordon at Finca el Cerrillo in Andalucia, Spain. (www.hotelfinca.com, can’t seem to get the link to work on my iPad!)
Not only did they arrange this lovely bowl, but our Easter Sunday breakfast table was strewn with similar flowers from their gardens and chocolate goodies, and they organised a tea time Easter Egg hunt, which was surprisingly popular despite there being no-one involved under the age of thirty!
We spent yesterday walking in the area around the finca, and the wild flowers were incredible. I’ll doubtless be sharing in a later post, but in the mean time, wishing you all a very happy Easter.
And many thanks, as always, to Cathy at Rambling in the garden, for hosting all our Monday vases.
It’s a very pretty display. I hope you’re thoroughly enjoying your holiday!
Thanks Kris, and yes we certainly are!
I noticed your post earlier in the day and was thrilled that you shared this with us as it is a great example of how we can think out of the box on this meme. Hope you really enjoy your holiday and that the weather is at least as good as it is here!
Hi Cathy, yes I thought it was just lovely and wanted to share.
Sadly the weather here has not been as good as back in the UK, probably warmer but sadly rather cloudy. Luckily the wild flowers are still smiling at me !
Thank you for sharing this lovely display!! I hope you are enjoying your holiday.
Thanks Julie.
I am just bowled over by this beautiful bowl…I love effect of the strewn flowers.
Hi Donna, glad you liked it – me too! I don’t think I’ve ever seen such a large bowl used for floating flowers in this way, and just had to share.
How delightful to be greeted with a sight like that. Thanks for sharing and I hope you have had a Happy Easter.
Thanks Dorris.
